Forum Session I:Diversity and City Tourism

On 22th, September, the Forum Session of Diversity and City Tourism was held in Fez. It deals with several discussion topics such as Diversified Tourism Resources and Marketing Strategy, Diversified Tourism Demands and Travelers Today and so on. It was hosted by WTCF Expert Committee members, Prof. Karl Wober and Mr. Roger Carter. Other experts, mayors, officials, tourism-related company managers and other honored guests also participated in the discussion.

Diversity is the new trend of modern tourism development, which includes the diversity of customer demands brought by society and technology development, the changes of service management and marketing strategy brought by Internet development, the communication of diverse cultures promoted by tourism and the effects to ecosystem and local people’s lives. On this forum, guests and delegates conducted extensive and deep communication on these issues and reached to an agreement that it would surely strengthen cooperation among members to enable them collaboratively deal with the challenges and chances brought by tourism development.
