【Introduction】:Between March 26 and 27, 2017, WTCF and Penang will jointly hold the WTCF Asia Pacific Tourism Conference. It will be the first large regional conference that WTCF will hold in one of its member cities. Mr. Guido Felipe Loayza Devéscovi, Peruvian Ambassador to Malaysia, is confirmed to attend the conference.
Between March 26 and 27, 2017, WTCF and its city member, Penang in Malaysia, will jointly hold the WTCF Asia Pacific Tourism Conference. It will be the first large regional conference that WTCF will hold in one of its member cities. The aim of the conference is to discuss the sustainable development of tourism cities in the Asia-Pacific region.
WTCF city and institutional members in the Asia-Pacific region, representatives of the tourism industry, media and other parties will be invited to attend the conference. The theme of the conference is “One Belt One Road: Construction of Tourism City Corridor and City Hub”. Reputable experts and elites of the tourism industry will discuss and exchange ideas on popular and meaningful topics: City and Tourism Economy, Driving Force of Cultural Tourism to the Tourism Industry, Development of MICE Tourism, Development of Cruise Tourism and so on.
Mr. Guido Felipe Loayza Devéscovi, Peruvian Ambassador to Malaysia, is confirmed to attend the conference, other honored guests are currently confirming their attendance.

Mr. Guido Felipe Loayza Devéscovi, Peruvian Ambassador to Malaysia
Ambassador of the Peruvian Foreign Service since January 2012. From September 2013 to September 2015 he was Director-General for Economic Promotion at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, overseeing Trade, Investment and Tourism. From August 2007 to August 2013, he was the Consul-General of Peru in Denver, Colorado, USA. From 2004 to 2007 he was Director for Asia and the Pacific Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru. He was also a Lecturer at the University Ricardo Palma (URP) and the Peruvian Institute of Business Administration (IPAE), in Lima.
Ambassador Loayza is a career diplomat, Licentiate in International Relations from the Peruvian Diplomatic Academy, who holds a Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Lima. He also has a Master in International Trade from the Peruvian Diplomatic Academy.
He received the Peruvian decoration “Order of Merit for Distinguished Services”, in the “Knight” category. He has also been awarded decorations from the Governments of Germany and Austria.
