On September 7, Representatives from Chongqing, Qinghuangdao, Sanya, Zhangjiangjie and Anshun promoted their cities at the Tourism Market Promotion Meeting, showing their unique tourism resources to the guests attending the summit. About 150 guests and members of the media were invited to attend the meeting.

Representative from Chongqing introduced the tourism resource to the guests at the Lunch Promotion. The central urban area of Chongqing is surrounded by the Yangtze River and Jialing River. The city looks gorgeous because of its mountains and water channels, which all have their own unique characteristics. Therefore, Chongqing is reputed as the “City of Mountains” and “City of Rivers”. With active interaction from the audience, Chongqing left a deep impression with the guests. The folk song performance of Zhangjiajie with the performers in bright colored costumes appeared stunning. The city introduction of Sanya and Anshun can be described as having distinctive features, full of folkloric lifestyle, and modern and fashionable.

On September 8, the International Horticultural Exhibition, Venezuela and Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture promotions were presented during the Lunch Promotion. With the aim of building Beijing into a first-class, harmonious and livable international city, the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing will combine the functions of horticulture, science, technology, culture and tourism and bring together no less than 100 official exhibitors from various countries and international organizations, and no less than 16 million visitors are expected to visit the expo. After that, Ali Padron, Venezuela's Vice Minister for Tourism, promoted the sustainable tourism in Venezuela with the theme of “Sustained Building of Tourism City Brand”. Finally, the Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture presented their wonderful promotion, and expressed the wish to make every effort to set up the Sanjiangyuan National Park Experience Zone which incorporates the international status, Chinese spirits and Yushu Characteristics.


The representatives from travel agencies highly appraised the Tourism Market Promotion and expressed strong interest in the unique tourism resources and travel products of the cities and actively consulted and communicated with each other at the site.
