Edinburgh International Book Festival

The first Book Festival took place in a tent in Edinburgh in 1983. Billed as The largest festival of its kind in the world, the festival hosts more than 600 activities in the two-week period of time. Every year, the event is held in August in downtown Charlotte Square. It attracts world-class authors; here one can absolutely enjoy the book fair. Edinburgh Book Festival expands rapidly to become one of the world's largest and most dynamic festival in similar events.
