Aabao Festival

Aobao Festival is also called Taenke Festival, a festival with a long history for the Mongolian people. Every July or August, the Mongolian people will gather and celebrate this festival. For the Tuwa people, a branch of the Mongolian people, this festival is usually celebrated in June. Many families will gather around a rock mound with their best food. They will burn incense and light candles. Traditional entertainment like horse racing, wrestling, and arrow shooting will be held. They will sing and eat together to celebrate this festival.
