Dear colleagues and friends,

Dear Participants at the World Conference on Tourism Cooperation and Development 2022.

I would like to thank WTCF for inviting me to this important event and congratulate them for organizing a successful event. The sister city relationship between Helsinki and Beijing, which began in 2006, laid the foundation for Helsinki's membership in WTCF.

In 2019, Helsinki had the privilege of hosting the WTCF Annual Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit. Once more, I wish to express my gratitude to our WTCF colleagues for their excellent cooperation in fostering our tourism cooperation.

Dear friends, as we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic, the geopolitical situation and the state of the world economy have challenged the development and growth of tourism industry to a great extent. But we believe that, in cooperation, this important industry will recover and build its resilience.
