RX (Reed Exhibitions), the organiser behind IGTM (International Golf Travel Market), is taking the leading international event to a new home in Europe. For the past 20 years, IGTM has rotated around key golf destinations and will now settle in Lisbon for the next 2 years, defining the future of golf tourism for both exhibitors and travel agents/tour operators who will meet, do business, play golf and network for 3 days.
The 31st Guangzhou International Travel Fair (GITF) was held at Area C of the China Import and Export Fair Complex from 19 to 21 May 2023. Representing its members, the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) attended the fair, taking the opportunity brought by the fair to actively promote the tourism resources of its member cities and institutions.
ITB Berlin, the world's leading travel trade show, took place on March 7-9, 2023, in Berlin, with the theme "Open for Change". The 2023 fair was the first offline session of the event since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) participated for the seventh consecutive time as a co-host. Government officials, tourism destination managers, experts, scholars, senior tourism company executives, media outlets, and heads of international organizations from more than 180 countries and regions attended the event.
The World Tourism Cities Federation Changsha Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2023 is being jointly hosted by the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) and Changsha Municipal People's Government, in Changsha, China from 9 to 11 May. During the Welcome Dinner held on 9 May, guests from around the world discussed new opportunities for world tourism recovery and appreciated the beauty of Changsha, a city with beautiful mountains and water, as well as a profound history and culture.
Beijing Daxing International Airport handled 4,294 inbound and outbound flights and 575,600 passengers during the five-day May Day holiday, which ended on 3 May.
