Greetings!

I'm Andy Foster, the Mayor of Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand.

I would like to acknowledge Mr. Chen Jining, Mayor of Beijing and the Chairman of the World Tourism Cities Federation. Congratulations on the successful convening of the event. The last two years have brought unprecedented challenges and I want to thank the WTCF for their support. Over many years we have deepened our collaboration and understanding of what tourism and how it can be developed in a sustainable way for the generations to come. In Wellington, we do it the Wellington way. So, welcome to Wellington, New Zealand's capital city.  A great place to live, work, study, play and visit.
