Mobike Enters Thailand

Mobike officially enters Bangkok Thailand with strategic partners Advanced Info Service, Central Pattana Group and Kasetsart University.

Today the three organizations each signed an MOU with Mobike (Thailand) Ltd. at an exclusive event for Press and VIP’s at Grove in the Central World mall

Mobike will first become available at the Kasetsart University in Bangkok – Thailand’s largest university. This leading university will kick off the Bangkok service, to be closely followed by deployment across Central Pattana Group’s properties and other strategic locations across the capital. Bangkok’s first and largest shopping mall ‘Central World’ will soon be home to Mobikes, making it the most convenient mall for shopping excursions.

Mobike Thailand will be entirely free for the first two months, thanks to sponsorship from Central World and Kasetsart University!

AIS will be Mobike’s technology partner as the largest telecom operator in Thailand. It will support the extension of Mobike’s IoT network of Smart Bikes across Thailand. By utilizing next gen network with advanced 4G and Super WiFi technology for connectivity between riders and bikes – Mobike’s connectivity will be the fastest and smartest network available.
