Los Angeles is the second largest city in the southwest of California, the United States. It is also the largest city in west America, and usually referred to as the "City of Angels". Rudolf Schindler decided to build the house after his visit to Yosemite National Park with his wife. Schindler House, now known as Mak Center For Art & Architecture at Schindler House, was built in 1922, with typical elements of slide gates, an outdoor fireplace and a lush garden landscape. Now, the architectural treasure is included in the National Register of Historic Places and opened to the public from Wednesday to Sunday every week.
