This Pyramid was specially constructed to host the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. The interior contains facilities for different religions: Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Daoism, and other faiths.
The Akorda Presidential Palace is the official work place of the President of Kazakhstan, located in the capital city of Astana. Akorda Presidential Palace was built within three years, and officially opened in 2004.
Construction of the cathedral mosque "Hazret Sultan" started in June 2009. It is considered as the second largest mosque in Central Asia.
Bayterek Tower is a monument and observation tower in Astana, and is the symbol of the city. The monument is meant to embody a folktale about a mythical tree of life and a magic bird of happiness: the bird, named Samruk, laid one egg in the crevice between two branches of a poplar tree.
