'Italian Contemporary Art and Artists on the Silk Road'

The Inside-Out Art Museum in Beijing's Haidian district is currently holding its first significant international exhibition of 2023: Italian Contemporary Art and Artists on the Silk Road.

Set to end on 15 April, the exhibition curated by art historian, critic and curator Angela Tecce will present artworks from more than 30 artists spanning multiple generations.

The artworks on display span more than half a century of time, from the late 1960s to 2020. Among them, most of the works were created after 2010. As the leading project of the China-Italy Year of Culture and Tourism, the exhibition seeks to provide a comprehensive view of Italian contemporary art, especially the different trends that have emerged in recent years.

The Inside-Out Art Museum has long been carrying out long-term art research, supporting non-commercial art practices, and leading research.

'China Realism Painting Sketches' exhibition in Beijing

The China Realism Painting Sketches exhibition, co-organized by the China Realistic Painting and Yun Shang Art Museum, is currently being held at the Oil Painting Institute of Chinese National Academy of Arts in Beijing until 26 March.

The exhibition seeks to showcase the fundamental strengths of the painters and to provide a reference case for the young generation of painters today. In today's image-centric age, the unique infectious power of realistic paintings is credible and perceptible, allowing people to better understand the ontological language of painting art and enjoy its aesthetic and emotional power.
