Fiji Welcomes Back the First Large Incentive Group From China Market After COVID-19

Tourism Fiji extended a warm welcome to a large Chinese incentive group, comprising of 60 travellers, for a 6-night stay in Fiji from April 25 to May 1. The group explored Fiji's stunning destinations of Nadi, Mamanuca Islands, Denarau, and Coral Coast, while enjoying their stay at the Sheraton Tokoriki and Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort.

The flights between Hong Kong and Nadi operated by Fiji Airways were officially resumed on 1 April. Tourism Fiji beat national and international competition for winning a Chinese company incentive trip to Fiji, which marks the first large incentive group from China after COVID-19.

This incentive group is from Ruijie Ltd, founded in 2023. The company builds in-depth scenario-oriented application experience through solution design and innovation, to assist with digitalisation across industries. The current incentive trip is to reward its sales elites and part of the company’s annual all-stars outbound program.

Tourism Fiji CEO, Brent Hill said,“The incentive group is valuable to Fijian tourism industry. The group travellers were greeted in person by Tourism Fiji CEO, Brent Hill, at the Nadi international airport, extending the Fijian ‘loloma’ to them upon arrival, and the commitment to build more such relationships.
