Dublin City Council has provided local communities with around 30 Christmas trees to help encourage the Christmas spirit across the city.
Lights on the trees will be switched on during a number of local ceremonies starting later this week and continuing over the next 2 weeks.
From Ballyfermot to Ballymun, and Dolphins Barn to Darndale, the festive spirit will soon be ramping up right across the city.
"Together with 'Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights' which will illuminate the night skies for the month of December, the twinkling Christmas trees will also help get people into the festive mood," said the Lord Mayor of Dublin Daithí de Róiste.
Some of the tree-lighting ceremonies will also include a visit from Santa as well as carol singing and face-painting, so why not bring the family and enjoy some festive fun!
