[Highlights] Guests of Mayors' Forum

The 2024 World Conference on Tourism Cooperation and Development hosted by the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) is scheduled to get underway on the afternoon of September 12 at the China National Convention Center. During the conference, mayors and deputy mayors from six famous travel cities in countries including Spain and UK will meet together to converse over the new paths for inter-city cooperatoin and growth of the global tourism industry. Justine Simons, Deputy Mayor of London and Chair of the World Cities Culture Forum will deliver a keynote speech themed "Boosting Cross-Border Tourism and Enhancing Mutual Learning among Civilizations". Ángeles Muñoz, Mayor of Marbella (Spain), Prince Thuso Moyo, Mayor of Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe), Ramón Antonio Ramírez, Mayor of Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), Elvis Lexin La Torre Uñacori, Mayor of Machupicchu (Peru), and Domenico Carretta, Deputy Mayor of Torino (Italy) will discuss over the same theme to explore new measures, appraoches and strategies for the prosperous development of the tourism industry. Wang Gaofei, Deputy Director of International Communication Department, China News Network, will be the moderator of the forum.
