Dubai Airports adopts AI-powered turnaround management

Dubai Airports is expanding its digital transformation efforts through a collaboration with Assaia to introduce an AI-powered turnaround management solution at Dubai International (DXB). The system will be deployed across all aircraft stands and is designed to improve situational awareness, operational coordination and the overall performance of the airport community.

The initiative positions Emirates as the only airline globally operating a full-scale AI turnaround management system across its entire operation at DXB. It contributes to Dubai Airports’ wider strategy to use real-time data and artificial intelligence to support more precise and consistent aircraft turnaround processes in partnership with Emirates, flydubai, dnata and other service providers.

The project supports DXB’s focus on operational efficiency as the hub welcomes more than 90 million guests annually. The system is expected to minimise ground-related delays, reinforce on-time performance and contribute to smoother journeys for passengers.
