Tui has joined forces with Glasgow airport to give agents the chance to win hospitality tickets to Calvin Harris’s highly anticipated homecoming gig at Hampden Park.

The globally renowned Dumfries-born DJ is set to play a huge show at the national stadium of Scottish football on August 1, 2026.

To be in with a chance of attending the gig – and watching on from the comfort of a hospitality Skybox lounge – agents must book and register any Tui package departing from Glasgow airport before February 28.

In a webcast with Travel Weekly, Tui head of trade relations Andrew Isherwood said he is expecting the incentive to generate plenty of interest.

“There will be lots of people absolutely gunning for tickets to Calvin Harris’s return to Scotland,” he told editor-in-chief Lucy Huxley.

Isherwood said this is the first of several trade incentives being launched by the operator to spur peaks sales as he teased more activity to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

“December has historically been the quietest time [of year], when people used to take their holidays, but there’s no chance of that now because of all the planning – and we’ve got lots planned which will come out in the next few weeks,” he said.

“We’ve found some great experiences and I won’t spoil the surprises for turn-of-year [incentives] but I think there’ll be something for everybody.”

Isherwood also highlighted a Gatwick incentive due to launch next week, which will see a prize given away to winning agents over a 12-day period.

He said peaks offers would be similar to those promoted in previous years but “hopefully this year we can add a little bit extra”, revealing the operator had been “working closely with hoteliers and airports”.

Tui will host a ‘World of Tui’ virtual drop-in clinic between December 16-18 to boost agents’ knowledge ahead of the peaks period, explained Isherwood, with the agenda due to be shared in the next week.

Specialists will deliver training on Marella, city breaks, assisted travel, ski, weddings and more over the three-day event.

“People can drop in whenever they like, whether they’re homeworkers or high street agents. It’s a quieter time on the high street so hopefully agents can pop in,” explained Isherwood.
