Kuoni has added a collection of Indian Ocean resorts to its 2023 offering, with destinations in the Maldives, Mauritius, the Seychelles and Sri Lanka.
Three resorts have been added in the Maldives, including The Standard, which offers 115 water and beachside villas with daily yoga, snorkelling, boat trips and diving and is designed for couples, families and groups of friends.
The Emerald Faarufushi Resorts is set to open in the Maldives later this year. It is a sister resort to Emerald Maldives which Kuoni added to its programme last year, meaning customers can twin the two resorts.
In addition, Kuoni has added 36 beachfront bungalows on the island of Makunudu, which it claims are a "perfect spot" for single travellers, divers and couples.
Elsewhere, Kuoni has added the Lux Grand Baie in Mauritius, an all-inclusive resort with 116 suites, villas, residences and penthouses with private pool and rooftop bar, designed to appeal to families, groups of friends and couples.
La Reunion, which Kuoni said is often twinned with Mauritius, has added beachfront hotel Ness by D-Ocean.
Two resorts have been added to the company's Seychelles offering. Story Seychelles on Mahe Island has a focus on sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint, and offers year-round swimming on a coral reef, while Raffles Seychelles targets high-end family holidays with personalised experiences for children.
The Aliya Resort and Spa has been added to Sri Lanka as a family option for those in the Sigiriya area.
Sheena Paton, senior programme manager, said: "Indian Ocean destinations are by far and away our best-sellers right now, but the big shift is that it's not just honeymooners who are booking. The appeal reaches all sorts of customers no matter what life stage they are at.
"We've worked hard behind the scenes to bring more places to stay with experiences which we think people are going to love."
