Ottawa Tourism strengthens business events team with two appointments

　　Ottawa Tourism has appointed Angela Jefferies and Orest Gawdyda as Managers, Business Events, strengthening international sales and key national segments within the city’s meetings and conventions strategy.

　　Ottawa Tourism has expanded its Business Events team with the appointment of Angela Jefferies and Orest Gawdyda as Managers, Business Events. The two appointments are intended to deepen the destination’s reach in priority markets, strengthen partner relationships, and support growth in Ottawa’s meetings and convention economy.

　　Angela Jefferies brings nine years of experience supporting the Canadian and international association market. Her background includes hotel sales roles and a recent position with Destination Toronto. In her new role, she will lead international Business Events sales, with a focus on growing global meetings in Ottawa and the National Capital Region and strengthening the city’s position within the international meetings landscape.
