The Michelin Guide in Moscow soon!

We are glad to announce that some Moscow restaurants will receive stars and will be included in the famous Michelin guide! 

We also present to you a new profession in the tourism field that has appeared in Russia.

The Michelin (fr. Michelin, Le Guide Rouge) Stars Ceremony for Moscow restaurants and their chefs will take place on October, 14th. The presentation of the first edition of the world famous gastronomic guide to the capital of Russia will take place in the Zaryadye Concert Hall. 

Russia will become the 33rd country where The Michelin Guide is issued, and Moscow will be the first city in the CIS to have cafes and restaurants marked with special stars and other signs. This is a long-awaited event for the gastronomic and tourism industries of the capital, for representatives of the professional communities. 

The high level of Moscow restaurants is reflected in international ratings. Three Moscow restaurants were included in the list of the world's best restaurants in the World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2019. They are The White Rabbit in 13th place, The Twins Garden in 19th and The Selfie in 65th.

Tour guide assistant - a new profession for young people

A new profession has been officially approved in Russia - guide's assistant. It is possible to be an assistant from the age of 14.

His or her duties include informing tourists about sights, routes, useful addresses for travelers (for example, tourist information centers), antiquity and other security measures. Also, the new specialist will provide assistance to sightseers with disabilities, interact with the travel agency. This will allow the guides themselves not to be distracted by technical issues and pay more attention to the content of the excursion or route.

RUSSPASS and Domodedovo International Airport have opened an exhibition about travelling across Russia

On September 15th, Moscow Domodedovo International Airport and the travel planning service RUSSPASS presented a joint exhibition project "This is Russia". The exposition includes unique photographs of the country's natural attractions, which will impress even the most experienced travelers.

You will get to know more about different parts of Russia on the second floor in the passenger terminal. There are 16 photographs taken by Russian travel bloggers while travelling around the country. The exposition will run until October 14th included.
