【Summit Review】Meeting of WTCF Committee of Investment Successfully Held

On the afternoon of June 1, during the 2026 Beijing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit, the Meeting of the WTCF Committee of Investment was held in Beijing. The meeting was chaired by Li Weiqun, Chairman of the committee.

In strict accordance with the WTCF's governing regulations, the meeting commenced with a formal reading of the Measures for the Administration of Branch Organizations of the World Tourism Cities Federation, which was presented to all attending delegates for deliberation and approval.

The meeting successfully adopted the Working Regulations of the Committee of Investment and the relevant personnel nomination list, further standardizing the operation and management system of the Committee.

Secretary-General Guo Wei delivered the annual work report to committee members, offering a comprehensive review of past activities, an objective assessment of existing challenges and shortcomings, and a clear outline of strategic priorities and key tasks for the next phase.

During the subsequent discussion session, participants engaged in in-depth exchanges on the latest trends in cultural tourism investment and financing both at home and abroad. The discussions focused on innovative investment models, risk prevention and control, and resource integration, with special attention given to identifying future directions for cultural tourism investment in the new era.
