【Summit Review】2026 Meeting of WTCF Committee of Media Organizations Successfully Held

On the afternoon of June 1, during the 2026 Beijing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit, the Meeting of the WTCF Committee of Media Organizations was successfully convened in Beijing. Centering on core priorities including standardized development of the committee, integrated growth of cultural tourism media, and elevated quality of member services, the meeting coordinated key tasks ranging from institutional improvement, organizational framework restructuring to detailed work planning. It built solid foundations and consensus for the Committee of Media Organizations to deliver high-quality cultural tourism communication in the new phase. Representatives of all member institutions of the committee gathered to exchange insights on innovative development paths for the cultural tourism media industry and the committee’s future construction.

The meeting announced the Measures for the Administration of Branch Organizations of the World Tourism Cities Federation. In full compliance with the Federation’s Charter, participants reviewed and revised the Working Regulations of the Committee of Media Organizations, so as to further standardize its daily operations, event organization and management procedures. The meeting also examined and approved the proposed candidates for Chairman and Vice-Chairmen of the Committee, refining its organizational structure.

During the panel discussion, attendees engaged in thorough and dynamic exchanges on pivotal topics: regularized committee operation, high-quality cultural tourism media content creation, customized member services and the development of cross-industry exchange platforms. Attendees shared practical experience and put forward constructive proposals, defining clear directions and key focuses for follow-up work-coordinating multi-party media resources, telling compelling stories of world tourism cities, and expanding the influence of cultural tourism communication worldwide.
